How do Casting Calls Work?

Casting and Model Calls are placed by Client members. Talent respond to Calls and their responses are viewed by the member who placed the Call. When viewing the responses to one's own Casting Call, a comparison is shown of the Talent's bio (e.g. age-range) against the Casting Call criteria to give a quick overview of the suitablity of the applicant. Talent member's rating will be adjusted (up or down) depending on the suitablity of their responses.

Who will see the Casting Calls

Casting Calls are widely published by XposurePlus to reach as wide an audience as possible withing the location of the job. Talent who are not yet registered with XposurePlus and who see the Call advertised elsewhere, will need to follow the link to XposurePlus, where they will need to register as a member in order to respond to the Call. Only members of XposurePlus will see the full description of the Call but visitors will see an index of Casting Calls (title, age-range, gender, location).

How to Place a Casting Call

Client members (those who hire talent) place Casting or Model Calls by completing an on-line form and optionally making a small donation.

How to Respond to a Casting Call

Talent members respond to Casting or Model Calls by completing an on-line form stating why they should be selected for the job. Talent members are advised only to respond to Casting Calls that match their bio and location. Talent members can only respond once to each Casting Call. Paid members (Silver or Gold) will be able to edit or remove their responses (next system release).

Casting Call Optional Donation

An optional donation of US$10.00 can be made for each Casting Call placed with XposurePlus. Considering that you can leverage your time by letting XposurePlus publish and advertise your Call and find appropriate responses from genuine Talent matching the requirements, this is a very small expense. The system compares your Casting Call criteria (where entered - not every field is required for a broader sweep of talent) against the responding Talent member's bio to make it easy to check suitability. For example, if your Casting Call has specifically asked for a female model, 18-24 years, with long, blonde hair the system will show your criteria alongside the Talent member's gender, age-range, hair color, and hair style.
